“Thematically as an artist I have a deep interest in human nature and its cultural context. As naturally sensory beings, I wish to explore the complex aspects of the human psyche through the use of different artistic expressions. As an interdisciplinary artist I like to try out a variety of different mediums however, and in this process let the mediums speak for me.
My work is usually figurative and focused on the female form, however experimenting with different prompts and mediums has allowed me to keep the creative juices flowing in periods where inspiration has been failing. In doing so I have learnt to play more with colour and expression, and the abstract has gained footing in my works.”
